Una breve presentazione di Bill Kealy, nostro ospite il 4 novembre per la seconda data del Dance with the devil al Trenta Formiche!

Colleziono dischi da circa 30 anni. All'inizio la mia ricerca di concetrava principalmente sulle mod bands degli anni 60 ma presto la mia attenzione si e' spostata verso il soul 60 e le stampe Motown.
Negli ultimi 10/15 anni ho principalmente collezionato R&B degli anni 50 e 60.
Ho messo in piedi il mio primo club nel 1996 e da allora sono stato coinvolto nella organizzazione di vari serate, fino ad arrivare a quello che negli ultimi 12 anni e' stata la mia serata piu' importante a Dublino, in Irlanda: il "For Dancers only".
Ho avuto la fortuna di essere ospite con frequenza al "Hideaway Club" di Manchester e di poter mettere musica in alcuni dei posti piu' belli d'Europa, come il move on up club a Trieste, l'euroyeye a Gijon, Les Minets a Parigi, suonare assieme con i ragazzi della Soulful Torino a Turino, Mojoworking a San Sebastian, The Italian Job a Rimini, Pacemaker a Stockholm,Pow Wow in Sheffield, The Forum Club a Madrid, Crossfire e RNB123  a Londra...
Non vedo l'ora di tornare a Roma e suonare alcuni dei miei dischi! ogni volta ritornarci e' fantastico!

I’ve been collecting 45's for about 30 years.In the beginning it was mainly 60's mod bands but that soon moved on to sixties soul and Motown.More recently, the last 10/15 years or so I have more or less only been collecting 50's And 60's R&B...
I started my first club in 1996 and since then have always been involved with some club.My current club is called 'For Dancers Only' based in Dublin, Ireland and we are now into our 12th year..
I was very lucky to be a regular guest at the Hideaway Club in Manchester and get to DJ at some beautiful places around Europe, some highlights recently include Move On Up in Trieste, Euroyeye in Gijon,  Les Minets in Paris, Soulful Torino in Turin, Mojoworking in San Sebastian, The Italian Job in Rimini, Pacemaker in Stockholm,Pow Wow in Sheffield, The Forum Club in Madrid, Crossfire and RNB123  in London...
I cannot wait come back to Rome to play some records....every time has been amazing....
